APHIE'S RANTS AND PIECES
2001-08-27 - 10:13 a.m. - Are we all aching to be heard? Aphie longed to express herself, express something, to be listened to have someone stop to pay attention but that disclosure was not available to her. This diary was not meant to be a daily journal for Aphie, it was meant to be a rants fest, a means for her to rant and fess about those things she has been building up inside her; instead, out of deep solemnness and the need to cry out to a wanting ear, she has been forced to fill it in everyday, sometimes twice a day...absurd and unheard of. Are we all waiting to say something to someone, don't we all want to be heard? If we want to be heard, who's doing the listening, who's waiting ready to lend an ear, possibly for you to lend one back to them in return? Is that why we run to shrinks the first chance we get, just because they are appointed ears?
